Going Home

So today Iliana got discharged from the hospital, it was a mixed emotions thing we are happy to be going home but its hard to go home without our boys but they are in good hands there and we know that they will be here with us in no time. The boys got a special visitor coming today their Grandpa Ozzie is coming from California and will be here with us until Sunday so everyone is excited about that and we know he is too. We will also be taking back possession of our little Junny and Alina! :) so it will be good to have them home with us.

Victor: So today was a pretty uneventful day for the boys no major changes they pretty much stayed where there where at and were doing pretty good. Victor received his first blood transfusion. They put him back on the UV lights for a little while but was taken off of them by the time we went back at night. He went off and on insulin throughout the day which is something they say is normal. So the big thing we found out with Victor today in that he has an IHV. They say that is a very low grade 1 case so that is the least of their worries right now but they will keep an eye on it. We also found out that his PDA closed, so that was a bit of good news for him. Other than that he was a pretty good boy today and is just cruising along the way they would expect him to.

Carlos: So today we got the results of Carlos heart scan and it came back that he has a small PDA and they started him on a 3 dose of medication that should close it up. He had little thing with his lungs today where one of them was overinflated, they put him on his side and it fixed itself by the time we went back at night. He has been able to stay off of insulin and blood pressure medication. He had a little fuss when they changed his diaper they said his stats dropped pretty low but when they were done changing him he came back up, so they put him on some more medication to sedate him a little because they don't want him doing too much right now. All in all it was a pretty good day for him no major changes hes just hanging out where he is and doing good.
