Day 13

Ok so lets try to get everyone caught up. So Wednesday morning when Iliana called they let us know that little Carlos was going to need the same surgery that Victor had. So we were there for that and he did well through the surgery and is still doing good. It was not as bad and wasn't infected like Victors but it was still something that needed to be taken care of. Victor had a brain scan on Wednesday and they said that the bleeding had gotten a little worse. In the big picture though Victor is doing really good. This kid is crazy Tuesday night they had to put an IV in his head and before morning he had ripped it out! The next night he decided that it was time to be taken off the ventilator so he ripped out his breathing tubes! Man i just know this boy is going to be giving us problems when he gets older. So he is now completely off the ventilators, all he has is an oxygen tube in his nose and he is breathing completely on his own! Both the boys have been pretty stable since Wednesday, the drains on Carlos are draining good and the are going to take out Victors drain tomorrow. Carlos had another brain scan today but we still have not received the results from that. Here is a picture of Victor off of his ventilators its nice to see the little guy without all the tubes in his mouth, we know Carlos will probably be there soon since he seems to be following his brothers foot steps.
